Downtown Landmarks & Arts

Frederick’s historic core doubles as an open-air gallery—murals, ironwork, sculpture, and a full slate of galleries and theaters clustered along Market Street and Carroll Creek. Beyond the bricks, the river corridor is a living studio for nature art, photography, and bird-watching—from sunrise reflections to great blue herons, ospreys, and wildflower seasons.
